When Halloween comes to town, who you going to call? Who is going to dress up fancier than the tricker treaters themselves? Who – just for the fun of it – might add a mask to their purple outfits and Red Hats? Now you know!
Halloween is a fun time for kids and fun for the grownups who give them candy as a treat rather than being tricked (In by-gone days that normally meant turning over the outhouse.)
Today, Moms are needed more than ever to look after the kids. Halloween is one of those times and those idiots who try to give kids the wrong things those fools will think it over when they see a masked Red Hatter patrolling with a bunch of trick or treaters. Pad in hand writing down the house number and what was handed out!
Ever run into one of the local bullies who was too lazy to trek up to all the neighbors doors and get their candy in the spirit of the holiday? You know, the tough punks who grab a little kids candy right out of his hands and then treats himself. Those bullies are not very tough when a masked Red Hatter on the prowl scolds him and calls him by name. Shame is yet a powerful persuader and motivator to do the right thing.
Locally we are pretty lucky as there are lots of Red Hatters in our area. Enough that some Chapters are able to work with the retailers to provide safe candy places for trick or treaters to go to on Halloween night.
It is plainly contagious, Red Hatters originated to have fun and when they get going there are a lot of people enjoying themselves as a direct benefit of the Red Hatters doing their fun stuff.
Happy Halloween – and beware, Red Hatters are on the prowl!!!
