Wamee Ltd is proud to announce the launch of its website, www.wamee.com , aimed at providing a method of advertising virtually any item, available for sale or purchase. The website is very user friendly, and easy to browse. Customers can place an advertisement at any time, under different categories, and subcategories, for varying periods, from 15 to 90 days. The adverts are completely free of charge, up until 31st May 2005, and customers can list up to a maximum of 50 adverts per person, entity, or company. Anyone wishing to buy something, can browse the website, find what they want, and contact the seller directly. Our advertising fees are extremely competitive, and start from ?2.00p !!
The concept of Wamee, has taken two years, in total, to develop, from the initial stages of searching for ideas, concentrating on providing a service that would be of use to everyone, through to the actual website development stage, which has taken some six months. We wanted to ensure that the website met all of our requirements, devoting much time to ensuring it is user friendly, and easy to navigate. We also wanted to waste no space on the website, for gimmicks, or non-relevant information. Furthermore, we decided at an early stage, that we would have no banner ads, or pop-up ads, but maintained our aim to provide a clear and concise website for everybody. We have also included a section for archiving expired listings, so that a customer may return at a later date, to renew a listing, without having to rewrite it all.
When setting up the website, always at the back of our minds, was Why use Wamee?, and our answer to that, is, that it is extremely competitive, we provide a discount structure for regular advertisers, it is user friendly, plus customers get to see what they are buying, before they pay for it. We at Wamee are extremely proud of the website, www.wamee.com , and hope our customers will be pleased with the services we provide.
Much time has gone into the background of the website i.e. the programming, to ensure the site is fast, security issues are taken care of, filters are provided for unacceptable words, photos can be downloaded quickly, the payment process is clear and defined, and most of all, that customers are left with no doubts, as to where they are on the site, and if necessary, how they can find what they are looking for, without wasting time. Keeping things simple, but clear, is our objective, and we believe we have achieved that.
