Lasting transformation calls for a deep commitment and requires something radical to shift in you. Before any lasting change takes place in a person’s life, there must be a desire for that change, and a dedicated decision to accept it. Whether one seeks success, love, happiness or greater peace, there must be a commitment. The 14-hour commitment is an incredibly effective, easily implemented practice of exposing yourself to massive amounts of positive material to create a change in one’s thinking and belief systems. Making a commitment to massive positive repetition practices can begin to transform your life immediately.
Fourteen hours a day equals over 50% of your daily 24 hours. When those hours are spent exposing yourself to positive input that supports your vision, awakening, and new expression, it is only a matter of time before you see powerful results. I recommend sleep-learning as a powerful part of this program. One third of your life is spent sleeping. You can reclaim that lost time. Through sleep-learning, you can go directly to your subconscious mind, bypassing the noisy conscious mind, and input positive instructions. While your conscious mind is asleep, your subconscious mind isn’t; it never sleeps. It simply receives the information you give it, without argument.
The subconscious mind is like a big filing/storage room. It simply receives the information given it, stores it and begins to create from that which is stored. You need to store new information more than once. When you expose yourself at night to positive material, your conscious mind doesn’t interfere with or counteract the positive messages you are being given. In fact, right before you go to sleep and immediately upon awakening, as you hear the positive suggestions, you can instruct your subconscious mind to receive it and begin immediately to act upon the given information! You are the driver! This is an easy way to reprogram the subconscious mind. It is easy to get in the habit of just listening while you sleep– all you have to do is turn on the machine. Can you imagine taking the next year of your life just to incorporate this one thing into your daily routine? You would have listened eight hours a night, for 365 nights, which is 2,920 hours of positive affirmations going directly to your subconscious mind and reprogramming you to accept greater good. Don’t you think that might make an impact on you? You bet it would! What if you did it for five years? That’s 14,600 hours of transformational, powerful programming directly into your subconscious mind. You’re going to be sleeping anyway– why not take advantage of your down time and create some new beliefs that can transform your life for greater good? You can’t lose. Just for fun, what if for the next 10 years you incorporated this one practice into your life? That is 29,200 hours, or three and one third years of nothing but positive input. One third of your life is spent sleeping. What if a small baby started their life listening and the early files of their storage room were full of positive, loving ideas and beliefs? They would unconsciously seek out matching experiences that mirror those early beliefs. Do you know any small children or babies that might benefit from sleep-learning?
So that takes care of eight hours in a 24 hour period. Easy enough– but what about the other six hours that make up 14 hours in a day? Six more hours in your day exposed to positive, supportive information through listening to inspirational motivational programs, uplifting inspirational music, or reading inspirational, supportive material. Six more hours spent exposing yourself to massive amounts of positive input that supports you, your vision and your divine identity. This doesn’t mean that you have to stop everything; you can include these practices with what you are already doing. Listen to audio programs when you’re getting ready for work, in the car, or around the house. Read positive supportive books, rather than watching the tube. You can go to my website and hear uplifting messages on my e-radio, as well as check out the sleep learning CDs that are available (www.janettemariefreeman.com). The massive amounts of repetition will create a change in you and will reprogram your subconscious mind.
I especially recommend massive repetition in those periods of your life when you are consciously choosing a new reality and needing to create the momentum to move out of your comfort zone. In those periods of your life, fear of the unknown will usually stop people from moving through the change, and you need extra help to get over the hump. The 14-hour commitment can provide that help. Simply make the commitment to sleep learning every night for eight hours and then spend an additional six hours in a day exposing yourself to positive information. It’s like going on a physical training program: you get a trainer, go to the gym, eat very strictly and monitor the results. It’s not the same as a maintenance routine. When you’re activating the Creative Principle and consciously choosing to create changes in you and in your life, you need to activate something within. Massive repetition practices incorporating sleep-learning and day-time input will make an impact on you– it cannot help but do so!
Live your dreams! Choose what you want out of your life! Choose to be all that you were created to be! Let the practices of positive repetition support you and your fullest expression. You were created to live, to love and to be happy. Resolve today to let go of every single belief that argues with that most innate truth.
