1. Include your best key words and phrases in the opening paragraph of each article you submit to ePublishers and top Web sites. Your best key words and phrases are the ones that people put in the subject line of the search engines like Google. For my Web site, we use book coaching, book coach, Judy Cullins, San Diego, Write book, self-publish. Since 1999, we are still number one.


Search engine spiders pick up these and give you a higher place in the top search engines. Expand your keywords through visiting

. When you are in the top 10, many more people will visit your Web site. That eventually translates to sales.


2. Include your best key words in your title bar just below your banner on your home page. For instance, “Book writing, book publishing, and book marketing.” Apply this idea to your service or products. The search engines look for your key words here.


3. Include various key words at the top of your home page in headlines, and on all other important pages. Include key words in the links (navigational bars) you have at the top or at the side of your Web pages. Here’s a few: “teleclasses,” “seminars,” “coaching information,” or “media page.” your visitor will click to your get information for each topic. Here’s your chance to make your words count. Include benefits for all. When you click the link you will go to the appropriate page. At the top of each page will be your headline loaded with appropriate key words.


If you are like me, you will want to build a content-rich site, with a lot of articles and ezine feature articles titles listed on various links. A large content-rich site is useful because each one of these pages serves as a mini-website attracting searchers looking for various aspects of your offerings.


Success Story: Three and a half years ago, my Web presence went from -0- to being listed on over 3400 other web sites with my URL listed–all from submitting articles. My site is still listed number one, and my ezine subscribers have gone from 100 to over 3500. Each time I submit an article to spam-free ezines, my ezine subscribers increase 10-25 each day. Web sales also increased from $75 a month to over $4500 a month in 2004.
