We are told that to grow a network marketing business, we should expect and deal with a lot of rejection. Probably the main reason that we don”t talk to people about our business is the fear that they might say “No!”.
So how could we go about asking people if they would be interested in finding out more about our business? Ask them in such a way that they cannot say “no”!
How about this approach, taught to me by networking legend Tom “Big Al” Schreiter?
“Hi, I”ve just found out a way to [do something]. If you would ever like to find out more, I”d be glad to show you. Otherwise, [alternative].”
[do something] could be:
“earn more part time than your boss does full time”
“sack your boss and start your own business”
“stay with the children all day and still earn a full time wage”
Just use a bit of imagination and you can come up with any number of things to say.
[Alternative] really depends on the situation:

“I”ll have a double-super-mega-cheesy-burger, thanks”;
“please pass the ketchup”;
“I”ll see you next week”;
The important thing is to give them the option of saying either “Oh yes, what”s that all about then”, or just serving you your double-super-mega-cheesy-burger. That way, they don”t ever have to say “no” to you, saving you the rejection and saving them the embarrassment of trying to find an excuse.
Try it. It really works well.
